For a fan video that was shockingly good. I especially liked seeing the constitution class ship burning up and impacting the planet. It was like getting a better look at the fiery demise of the 1701 in The Search for Spock.

I still love both ST and B5. B5 was like reading a serries of novels. ST just opened my mind when it first aired in 1967.

Awesome! I loved the themes from B5 - it was the first real attempt at a proper space opera with a beginning middle and end. I will say though, even after seeing those fleets in action, the Enterprise refit is still by far my favourite ship. I did my own Trek/B5 crossover on Youtube. I think you can have a lot of fun mixing and matching the B5 races with the established Trek races.

And by spooky coincidence it looks like JMS finally wants to revive the franchise according to Trekmovie.com. I hope he pulls it off but he needs to tie up some of those dangling plot threads instead of farting around the edges with stories that have no wider context.
