Teaser Premieres Tonight!
As some of you may know, we've got a new teaser for the documentary that was made possible by YOUR donations -- thank you!

Today, at 5pm PT / 8pm ET, the teaser video will premiere publicly on our Voyager Documentary YouTube channel. Feel free to subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any new videos. YouTube's premiere function allows you to watch with your fellow fans and interact with one another in the "live chat."

Perk Fulfillment

April Update on Perks and Filming

Hello!

Here's a quick update to keep you abreast of everything.

Real Science Meets Star Trek Science

In early March the ESA invited the documentary and Garrett Wang to Novespace in Bordeaux, France to participate in a Zero-G Flight Campaign. Garrett was already going to be at a Star Trek convention in Italy right before that, so it was a quick trip over to Bordeaux from there.

On the flight, were scientists exploring the building blocks to technology that was imagined in Star Trek: Voyager. Garrett even took part in one of the experiments while experiencing zero gravity and we filmed it!


Away Missions, Backlot Tours, and Winery Event

These events are coming up next month. So please be sure you are checking your inboxes for our emails if you donated at these levels. This week of events is going to be so much fun and we're really looking forward to experiencing it with you.


Physical Perks

As you might imagine, the manufacturer in China that is making the Janeway mugs is experiencing delays because of China's biggest Covid outbreak and lockdowns currently happening. Nonetheless, we've been told they should be completed in a couple of weeks.

Once everything arrives, we will be shipping it all out to you -- except for the blu-ray/DVD combo pack which will go out once the film is completed. We will continue to keep you updated on all new information as soon as we get it. Thanks so much for your patience!

Update on Physical Perks

Hello!

Physical Perks
This is just a quick update to let you know that, although there were COVID difficulties in China, the manufacturer completed the Janeway mugs a couple weeks ago and they are now in the process of being shipped to us. Once those arrive, we'll begin sorting, packaging, and shipping out the physical perks (except the DVD/blu-ray combo pack) to all of you amazing people. We're very excited to get all of this great swag into your hands!

Weirdly I also got an email from Indiegogo asking if I got my physical perks yet - they were due November 2021! I'd forgotten that was the original date.

But I'm happy to cut them some slack given Covid and supply chains in China at the moment.

It's been quite the delay for sure. Too bad they couldn't have sourced the mugs from somewhere else in the world. It seems like the mugs are the only hold up so most people must have ordered that perk. Maybe they should have went with Janeway's lucky / unlucky tea cup.

Hello!
Here's a quick update on perks!

We've received all of the Janeway Coffee Mugs and they look amazing! We're waiting on the final shipments of shirts, and we'll be all set to ship everything out. For now, we are organizing and planning, preparing the perks to be sent out to you.

VERY IMPORTANT. It is vital that you complete your backerkit survey. Some of you have not yet completed that and we will not be able to send out your perks if we do not have your address. If you are unsure if you completed yours, please CLICK HERE and have it sent it you to fill out.

New Voyager Doc Events! And Last Day to Change Your Address

Surprise!

Many of you have asked if we will be doing more events and special opportunities. Some of you have enjoyed previous events and wanted to do them again. Some of you missed them the first time around. Either way, as of today, the answer is YES.

First of all, if you are going to the 56-Year Mission Convention ("STLV") in Las Vegas this August (or plan to be in the area at that time), check out our Star Trek Dinner with tons of Star Trek celebrities! As donors of our original campaign, you can CLICK HERE to see the secret discounted perk just for our previous backers (it will be at the top of the perks, with the name "SECRET-Dinner at Vegas Con." We'd love to see you there! Get them while they last.

We are also offering an evening of cocktails and fun with Star Trek celebrities from various series the night before the next Star Trek Cruise, as well as limited tickets to our premieres and a couple other options.

As you know, we do not want you to have to wait until the movie is completed before you can receive, wear, and show off your cool "To The Journey" perks, so today is the last day to change your mailing address -- please be sure you have done so on your backerkit account. Also please be sure your survey has been completed. If you are unsure about anything, click HERE to have your survey sent to you or to just sign into your account and check that everything is correct.

After today, we will lock the addresses and we can begin the process of shipping the physical perks out to you (except for the DVD-bluray combo packs that will be made once the film is completed).

Physical Perks are Being Shipped Out to You!

Happy Monday!

Physical Perks
Last week, we began shipping out the first packages to you, so many perks will be arriving at your doorsteps as soon as this week! Please keep an eye out for your Voyager Documentary merchandise in the coming weeks. If you do not recieve your items by the beginning of September, it will be because of two possibilities:

1. You have not yet filled out your backerkit survey and we do not have your mailing address confirmed because of it. You can check your address and/or complete your (30-second) survey by signing in to Backerkit or having the survey sent to you by clicking HERE.
2. You are missing the DVD-Bluray combo pack. This is because the combo packs will be made and sent out after the film is completed. All perks are currently being shipped out EXCEPT those.

Voyager Doc Panel/Event at Las Vegas!

If you are going to the 56-Year Mission Convention in a couple weeks, we will see you there! We've got a panel on the main stage on Saturday, August 27th!


We will also be hosting a memorable Italian dinner event with several Star Trek celebrities -- cast and crew, new and old -- Friday evening, August 26th, at 7pm, right across the street from the host hotel, Bally's. (If you have already claimed yours, we will be emailing you with further details shortly!)

An interview with Geneviève Bujold would have been interesting on the documentary. To get her take on those initial chaotic days filming the pilot episode and her quitting the role so quickly. Don't think I've seen anything indicating that they spoke to her though.

Wrapping Up Fulfillment, and We'll See you in Vegas

As we wrap up fulfillment this week, a few quick notes:

1. We still have a few spots left for next week's Star Trek dinner with celebrities in Las Vegas. Please check out our EVENTS PAGE for details.
2. We will be on stage in the Main Theater on Saturday, August 27th, at Creation's 56-Year Mission convention in Las Vegas. We hope to see you there!
3. Some of you have received your physical perks -- we are loving the posts and tweets about it! -- some of you are still waiting. We very much appreciate your patience. If you have not received your items by the time the first or second week of September rolls around, send us an email to let us know and we'll check on it.
4. Please make sure your Backerkit survey is completed so we've got your correct mailing address. Otherwise, we'll be unable to ship your perks out to you.
5. We've got a long (and fun) road of editing ahead. Once the film is complete, we'll set the premiere dates and contact you all about it! We will also then get the blu-ray-DVD combo packs out to you.

I've never read an interview that directly asks her what happened, always seems like second hand comments. We've always gotten Berman's take on the events but I would like to read what Bujold has to say. Maybe my Gooogle-fu is weak.
