Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country May 8th in Theaters

Yeah they're showing this in the NY area too...I guess you have to be a frikkin detective or some loser who would post at a star trek message board to figure that out! :guffaw:

Is there a chance that they would ever show TWOK in theatres again? Are things like that even possible, and what would it take for it to happen? The River Oaks Theatre near my house once aired the Menagarie and it plays vintage films, I wonder why not TWOK???

they showed it in Austin, Texas.

or tried to.

I doubt it'll ever be in wide or even limited release again, but they're showing it at the Alamo Drafthouse at the Ritz (6th Street, Austin) on May 6th.

Only about three hours' drive from Houston, right? :p

Haven't found any STVI listings for St. Louis but the new movie, like everywhere else, will be shown at 7 on Thursday. Regular, digital, mega-digital, and IMAX. I may have to go 4 times. :)

One of the advantages of being an older fan is that I HAVE seen ALL the Trek movies on the big screen. Hell, I saw TOS on the little screen when it ran in the late 60s. A disadvantage of being an older fan is if the new movie spawns more Trek I may not be around long enough to see it all.

:( Don't tempt me lol

Yeah, about three hours, but I have school AND work, finals week..ugh....oh well...figures that Austin would be so lucky...I used to go there all the time, but the one time there would actually be something worth doing there....

BTW, they're talking about Karl Urban on TMZ right now...that has to seriously be the most irritating show I have ever accidentally run across waiting to watch the Simpsons...apparently he's talking about his New Zealand heritage...yawn...
