I didn't know this could happen, but I had a wonderful conversation with Cortana on my smartphone about Star Trek. Did you guys know about this?

Yeah! I played around with that on my phone when Beyond came out.

I thought I was the only one who had a Windows Phone. Represent.

Worth noting that you can download Cortana on Android handsets too. I've got Cortana running on my Samsung Galaxy S6.

Never bother with Cortana but maybe I'll check this out. Wonder if it would be an appropriate thread to see what OS forum members use (Android, iOS or Windows Mobile)? Bet there are a disproportionate number of Windows Mobile.

You mean disproportionately small? I use Windows Mobile, but I'm the only person I know who does. I think MS has like 1 or 2% market share. Which I think is a shame.

Actually I mean disproportionately large compared to the 1% ownership of the general population. Windows Mobile fans tend to be on the techy-geeky side and are possible Star Trek fans as well. Of course there are also Windows Mobile owners who aren't particularly fans but because the phones usually are more affordable (like the 520).

Oooh I see. That's an interesting theory. I'm not much of a tech-savvy guy myself. I'm okay, and I'm interested, but I'm not really steeped in that world. I just have a brand loyalty because I prefer Microsoft's stuff over Google and Apple.
