Star Trek: The Tour

StarTrek.com just posted up some new info about Star Trek The Tour. Looks like fun, but they mention and show the shooting model for the 1701-A as one of their featured attractions.

The pictures they show do not look like the hero model I saw at Christies up close and personal last year, and I'm praying they didn't repaint it, like the Smithsonian did to the original E.

Wohoo, Phoenix is finally getting some Trek stuff now. The only other Trek thing we've had here in the last few years was The Cage Remsastered. It was actually at a theatre near where I live, but I didn't get to go.

I know I can't wait for this, because if actually matches what they are describing it sounds like it should be awsome. Does anyone know for sure if every city gets every part of it?

According to the list, it's Tucson, not Phoenix. Still, it's closer than California.

To answer the question, every city is getting all of the exhibits, but Shatner won't be at every one.

They are skipping Portland, Oregon. Must be because they know this is one of the biggest browncoat towns in the 'verse, and this is some kind of punishment (or the best they can muster.)

If you look again, you'll see that it is indeed coming to Phoenix. It's the third city down on the right side list.

My bad. It's coming to both cities. That's good news, since I prefer sub-100 mile drives.

Same here.
Do you have any idea where it might be? I was thinking the Science Center at first, but I don't know if that has any spaces big enough for it.

I couldn't find much information on startrek.com other than the list of cities and details for the long stretch in CA. When are the actual dates of the tour, and when do tickets go on sale for it?

Yeah, I'd like to know about ticket sales too, because it's coming to Albany, NY (20 minutes from my house).

 I can't believe it. Something Star Trek is coming HERE!!!

Hopefully once it gets closer to the end of it's Cali stay they will start to put more info up, because I would like to know when it will be here, how long it will be here, how much it will cost.
