I never really saw where any more of an explanation was necessary, she was the leader of the Borg and she controlled the collective.

Word Balloon podcast - at one point it seems to suggest that Issue #12 might be the last, which would make sense as it would mean the final arc overlaps with the first arc of Legacy.
 
Stil not a huge fan of the new artwork after seeing it across a full issue, but I guess it does work for the context and tone of the story.

It's been at least seven years real time since the founding of the Emerald Chain and they're already living up to their later reputation.

Admiral Sekhat has died, Bajor remains as a Federation member.

Deep Space Hope is a Ni'var station and is researching propulsion based on the Romulan Singularity Drive, but they've somehow managed to generate a psychic black hole that is forcing the Vulcan crew to sacrifice themselves to it.

Agnes goes Full Borg as the cliffhanger.
 
A very good issue. This series continues to surprise (me). Plenty of ideas!

I think these 7 issues so far have been more interesting than whole seasons of Discovery

Remember what we've got has only been equivalent to about 2.33 episodes though. And even Disco had at minimum 2.33 good episodes per season. If we got to, say, Issue #30, we may be able to accurately compare.

This comic has turned out to be much more interesting than I expected the premise to be - this week's issue sets up all sorts of interesting questions...
 
Just read #9, admittedly the art style for this arc still isn't doing it for me. But, holy crap, they threw everything into this cliffhanger -

And this might be the first reveal of the Omega's registration number.
 
Really been trying to enjoy this comic series but it just seems the artwork is getting harder and harder to make out details with each new issue.

The latest issue had so many shadows it was hard to follow.
