Some people say the holographic projection of the restrictions, see the Voyager No. 4-19, starship full of holographic projection, the German occupation was almost, if not snatch the console, so the holographic projection real powerful.

I'm sure there are people working on cell phones / tablets who are affected by seeing stuff on Star Trek even today so I wouldn't minimize that impact. Motivated, influenced, or inspired by it to some degree...
 
Star Trek may have been the first space based science fiction series aimed at an adult audience.

You had Twilight Zone ,and Outer Limits, Science Fiction Theatre, One Step Beyond, etc before that . But those were anthologies, and not always based in outer space.
 
If anything, STAR TREK has demonstrated the influence of Shakespeare on all media. Billy Shakes is very versatile, for someone who lived, like 500 years ago. And his works had a very pronounced effect on STAR TREK, indeed ...
