Star Trek Roots to the Strigas Affair

Nomad V

Fleet Captain
Fleet Captain
Man from U.N.C.L.E. "The Strigas Affair"

I had been thinking of the Man From Uncle the other day and downloaded a few episodes from ITunes. Low and behold there on the little screen was William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy on the TV. Shatner was an MIT guy starting a new company and Nimoy was working for an evil Balkans ambassador played by the same fellow that played Col. Klink (sp?) on Hogan's History. If was a neat peak into the early 60s TV scene. I can't help it I kept Man From U.N.C.L.E. items from childhood. I have to get them on EBay one of these days.

^ Keep that up and you'll be posting on the Russian front.

Werner Klemperer is awesome, though.

Col. Klink (sp?) on Hogan's History.

Wow, put a "(sp?)" on Klink's name (correct, BTW), but follow it up with Hogan's History? ;)

Wowzer, that would be "Hogan's Heroes". I must have been a senior moment there. Running around all day after my 6 and 8 year olds, while in my 50s is wearing me out. Regardless, here are links to some screen shots from that episode.

I completely sympathize. I'm in my 50s also, and you never stop running around after kids, or grandkids, for that matter.

I just hope to live that long to see grandkids. Dad went at 51, GrandDad went at 58, both with heart attacks. When my youngest is out of school I'll be 67, and I assume that is when I'll retire. I hope to have a few good years after that.
