Star Trek: Resurrection

Interesting idea Tenmei.

Here's a reworking of the plot: the powerful airborn toxin the replicators emit is a neurotoxin that doesn't outright kill you. Instead it makes you kill yourself and this effect can only be activated by a certain level of lifeform-emitted biochemical elements in the air, in other words it's only triggered when large groups of people are present.

We can call this new Trek series...Star Trek: The Happening! LOL

Okay, but hopefully Milan won't be as annoying about it as Valentine was. ("Yeah, Becka, we get it. You're a captain. Your ship is a scow but you're a captain.")

I'm thinking the character will be a bit more like Dax was during the Dominion War Arc, a gutsy and strong woman with scientific know-how.

Yeah, but, you'd never sell a TV series to a network where the female lead is significantly older than the male lead. That would be the first thing you'd be asked to change.

Which is a shame, isn't it?

Right now, I got nobody.

I did think about throwing a twist into the character and having him be played by Omid Abtahi (from Splinter Cell) and having the character being of Arabian descent.

I do like this concept, most scifi ideas are recycled in some way from a previous source. The nice thing about this one is it stays in the familar universe with Klingons, Romulans, etc.

Thanks! I've got most of the first season plotted out (aiming for a test-run of a first season of ten episodes) and the finale of the season features a race of aliens who we saw during Voyager.

We also visit Vulcan in the first season.

That's the M Night Shyamalan movie, right? I didn't see it when it came out, it didn't appeal to me at all.
