Star Trek Reanimated

One of the many bloggers I read has been talking about how he'd like to see TAS reanimated.

Pavlou wrote the latest script for Rendezvous with Rama. He'd like to see TAS done in the style of Doctor Who's Infinite Quest.

I really like the idea. Might be easier to achieve. What do you guys think. Here's one image. There are a couple of others on the site.

Looks cool to me. But then, Ptropes style of Trek reanimated looked good too. I'd just like to see someone actually do it. Reanimating TAS with modern artwork would be a really cool project that I'd love to watch.

As good as Ptrope's work is, I think I would rather see M'ress in TK421's style. Ptrope's M'ress looks way too much like a real cat. It's rather freaky, actually.

I gotta say, I saw "Star Trek: Reanimated" and thought this was a pitch for a Zombie Trek project of some sorts.

That would be something...

Looks good; his project seems to be a bit different from mine in that it appears he wants to do a "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid"-type of project, creating a new story along with the animation, out of dialogue and sound cues from multiple episodes (good film, BTW - I highly recommend checking it out!). Just to nitpick, I'm not sure I would call his project "reanimated," simply because he's not using an animated episode and, well, re-animating it ;).

Thanks for editing, Ptrope. Sorry about that. In my haste I forgot to copy the picture and host it myself. I'm usually good about that kind of thing.
