Client Update. Here is the Backlit print of the graphic that I did for a client. Not the best photos, but did not have long enough acrylic to “sandwich” the graphic for backlighting. Its printed on backlit film not paper.

Work Project: A client has asked me to create some Federation Diplomas, so I made a few Adobe Illustrator mockups to see what direction he would like me to go. I tried to come up with a mixture of different styles. The logos are just place holders, the client has some logos that I may have to remake. I have also included a link to a larger version, just in case facebook scales the photo down.

Great work. Only suggestion is that the Kirk era Diploma should use fonts from The Menagerie.

The red font looks like Futura, but I'm not sure what the other two are.

I would love to do a few TOS documents with that font. Is that the only shot of the book in the ep?

I think there are three screen caps of the cover on Trekcore. That's the closest. And there are a couple of the inside. But I think that's the only time that book appears.

A new item for the project. Engineering and Sickbay stool.
Look what I got!

Having some great luck finding stuff. I was able to pick up both of these vintage European stools (Dirt Cheap $250) She had them listed for $700, which is still cheap for Vintage European furniture. She brought them down to $325 (See Photo of the tag) The best part, she brought them down from Connecticut. I did not have to drive up and get them, she has a summer home where I live….So (Free Shipping

)

I’m posting some Before (Her Listing Photos) and After photos, she never clean them, so I took out (4)0000 steel wool and metal polish. Still, need to buff out the foot rest, but both of them came out well. I was able to recondition leather to a nice shine.

New Movie era Graphics

New Plaque. Took this in with me today, been busy so I had no time to post it. After working last night on the Enterprise Panels for my client, I had some time to do a quick render of a ST: Discovery Plaque. The names/text at the bottom is a placeholder. I could not read the name, but the text and layout are the same as the NX-01 plaque. Welcome any feedback, questions or comments.
