Re: Star Trek: Phoenix - July update

Ha ha... forums.

If you ever figure out how to get traffic at your production's forums, Mr. Rattie, please let me know.

I like the main theme.

That does it. Time for that Helen Noel pictorial thread in the TOS forum. :D

Re: Star Trek: Phoenix - August

Be sure to check out our website on the 20th. Our August Podcast should be online by then! We had casting calls this past weekend and had a great turn out. Details will be given on the podcast~

Captain Kirk,

The Main and Recurring Cast are now available on the Forums. As far as updates from the August Podcast, we now have Jeff Ayers, who is the author of the Star Trek book "Voyages of the Imagination", on board as our new Executive Story Editor. We also have Emmy-Award Winning makeup artist, Brian Sipe on board as our lead makeup artist. He will also supervise the overall look of new alien races we create. Brian won an Emmy for his work on the reality series "Black, White" and has worked on numerous films such as White Chicks, Big Mama's House, Pirates of the Caribbean, A Beautiful Mind, Master and Commander, the new film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Termination: Salvation. He also worked on Star Trek: Nemesis and the new Star Trek movie by J.J. Abrams. Our staff has more then doubled from our last podcast in June stated as 15 people and is now close to 40. We have a new website design, thanks to a new web developer on board who is creating Phase 2 of the site - eventually Flash.

We're filming in HD (16:9) with three HVX200's on a green screen. We are developing the Star Trek: Phoenix magazine that will follow the format of Star Trek: Magazine and will be downloadable in a PDF format for printing. Each issue will be based on a respective episode and include interviews with the cast & crew, episode information, behind the scenes, and more. The Premiere issue will be available a week before the Pilot premieres. We changed the name of the Pilot from "Clandestine Rendezvous" to "Redivivus" which better suites the story line. These are just some of the updates available.

Also for the podcasts, you don't need to download the files, you can listen to the podcasts directly from the host site. Just visit the Downloads section of the website and click on "Listen Online at mypodcast.com".
