I've been thinking about a possible refit design concept for the Star Trek Online Pioneer-Class starship, imagining how it might look if it were upgraded similar to how the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 became 1701-A in The Wrath of Khan era.
Concept Details:
Saucer Section--Reliant/Miranda-Class styling, maintaining Starfleet’s visual continuity.
Secondary hull--Upgraded Pioneer-Class architecture, modernizing the silhouette.
Warp nacelles--Enterprise-A style, featuring sleek blue light accents along the nacelles.
Refit philosophy--"She’s got good bones, but she needs a new skin," bringing the design forward with a fresh hull while preserving core structure.
I’ve noticed AI-generated attempts often add a third nacelle (just like when AI is adding extra limbs or fingers when drawing humans!), so I’m curious if anyone has a cleaner artistic take on this concept!
