Star Trek on Virgin 1 (on Freeview, Virgin TV & Sky)

Freeview owners will only get the evening showings. Virgin 1 replaces ftn, and shares the same hours, 6pm to 6am.
There's a new "Virgin 1 - the new home of Star Trek" advert showing on several channels now.

Didnt know Virgin 1 will replace FTN. Still, FTN is shit, never anything decent on when i tune in.

I was PO'd cos FTN started showing X Files from the beginning again just recently. Then I thought bugger that, and just watched it on DVD.
Another pleasant casualty is ABC1, Not bothered to see the back of that, a channel which has been showing the same programmes again and again for as far back as I can remember.
Replacing that, and nicking some of UK History's late night hours is a new channel called Dave. It used to be UKTVGold2, but now it's called Dave. Dumb marketing, dunno about the programmes though. Fingers crossed that it will have Red Dwarf.

What's happening to ABC1 (won't miss it - after the 1000th time Scrubs loses its funny)?
Never thought of Virgin 1 having limited hours. Bit of a shame as I'd have liked some daytime ST, but it'll be nice to see some Voyager on TV anyway.

No replacement? Usually something worse turns up in a dead channel's slot! 
Actually, I checked my epguide and it looks as if Virgin will be running 24 hours. It either got the air time from ABC1 or UKTV Bright Ideas. Both of which die.

It'll be great to come home to Star Trek in the evenings, rather than the usual stupid o'clock in the morning.
