As i have announced in another post, i am working on a fan edit of Star Trek: Nemesis. The last movie with the Next Generation cast is well known as an uneven movie that combines an attempt to refresh the franchise featuring more action-packed scenes with the goal of becoming a big and nostalgic farewell to the original cast. This is without any doubt the Star Trek movie that has been more cut before the final version that was released in cinemas back in 2002. A lot of dialoge scenes and character moments were cut in order to make the film lighter and more young-appealing.
My goal with this edit is to show how this film could have been if some of this deleted scenes had been kept in the edit, while also removing some of the unfortunate commercial concessions that have contributed to the film´s regular presence in "Worst Star Trek Movies" top positions.
One important thing rearding the deleted scenes is the soundtrack. Chateau Picard scene has been already edited in some amateur fan videos. One of them was posted in YouTube and features "An Honor", a track from the original score that appears in the Riker´s farewell scene. Since the begining i always tought that is a good choice, as both scenes feature the same thematic about the passing of time and the main characters saying goodbye to each other as they´re going to new adventures.
Now i´m trying to bring life to the other scenes with music and i would like to hear some suggestions. Which music do you thin could fit the following deleted scenes:
