Star Trek music that isn't.

Since there isn't a more specific "Star Trek Music" area I thought I'd post this here.

I'm looking for music that sounds like it could be from Star Trek, particularly TOS, TAS or TME, but is actually from another film. It's for background music in an RPG. I can obviously use music from the Trek soundtracks I have, and will, but I want some music to give the game it's own identity.

One I'm thinking is a good candidate at the moment is Bruce Broughton's "Lost in Space" soundtrack, had the standard edition for a while and loved it, but just got hold of and listened to the expanded edition. It's a great soundtrack, much underrated but probably one of Broughton's best and you can see why he was chosen to do the music for The Orville, there are some very... "Trekky" bits in it, particularly the prologue, almost hear those four notes of the original theme.

So, my question is, do any of you lot know of similar soundtracks (or other bits of music) that are, well, "Trekky"?

I love Astrid Lindgren's Ronia the Robber's daughter. The soundtrack has a Klingon feel to it :klingon:.
You can easily change the Robbers for Klingons having a party.

Mattis & Borka could be replaced with Martok & Gowron.....:D

I don't recall the name of the episode, but The Orville episode with the Liam Neeson cameo had TMP music with the serial numbers filed off.

Since you mentioned TOS and TAS maybe you're going for a retro feel

I always thought Flight of the Bumblebee sounded like a less disco version of TAS music

You might also find a lot of good stuff in The Planets by Holst. It's Star Warsy, but Neptune (the last piece) feels Star Trekky
