I am trying to decide which of these games is better. i was wondering if any one whos played these befoure could comment? i heard 25th anniversary has some bugs and has a clunky interface while judgement rights is very similiar and uses same engine. but which game is better?

Oh thanks but i am unsure how to move this post to the gaming section

Ask one of the moderators here to move it. If you go to the main page of this forum, you'll see links to them at the lower right of the page.

'Judgement Rites' is a slightly more polished game experience, with a broader focus (for example, away missions in '25th Anniversary' always have Kirk, Spock, McCoy and a Redshirt, but 'Judgement Rites' gives you missions with the other characters as well). 'Judgement Rites' has also got the option to skip the ship-to-ship combat sequences, whereas they're compulsory in '25th Anniversary'.

But truth be told, there's really very little between them. They both use the same game engine. They're both pretty good games. Just make sure you play versions with speech by the entire original cast, as it makes a big difference to the atmosphere of the game. :techman:
