I don't believe Spock ever rode,
although he did play with horses...

The actors from Star Trek may have been the original space cowboys,
but a few of them also played Native American "Indians" early in their careers.

The stark and visually impressive entrance of Sybok (Spock's brother)
is probably my favorite use of a horse in Star Trek.
Played by Laurence Luckinbill, Sybok appears on horseback
at the beginning of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

BTW...
I hear the racing on NIMBUS III is really quite good.

indeed and believe the two horses in Generations were William Shatner's. I knw Patrick Stewart said in an interview that Bill had taught him to ride for the film. How true that is i dont know.

Not only did Shatner actually own the horses used in Generations, but I remember him putting it in one of his books that he also wears pantyhose to prevent chafing when riding.

He convinced Stewart to also adorn himself with them to prevent said chafing. Soooo in that scene in Generations both he and Patrick Stewart were wearing pantyhose.

After reading that passage in Shatners book I can never watch that scene in the same way again....

Oh and from Star Trek V didn't Kirk advise Spock that he "must be one with the horse"? Because Spock was having a hard time controlling his animal?

Trip: "Have you noticed how your boobs have started to firm up?"
T'Pol: "Yes, and yours as well."

The reason we never saw Sisko riding a horse is because he preferred to ride a velociraptor.
Sisko is still wait for flying cars, someone told him there were going to be flying cars.

:)
