It is the year 2562, and a runaway comet has hulred itself between the earth and the moon unleashing cosmic destruction. Humanity is in ruin.
One thousand years pass, and a new world is born....a world of savagry and sorcerery.

From the shadows a hero emerges......James T. Kirk. Kirk has been imprisoned in the Nexus ribbon for thousands of years, and is freed from it by the dark lord Mustifarious.

The "shadow" kirk, has attained some mystical abilities, and promptly recreates his old crew...though now they have been transformed with abilities far far beyond mortal men.

The new crew
Spock "the hammer"-This new improved Mr. Spock has the ability to morph into any animal form, provided he is withen 50 ft of Sulu "Water Elemental"

"Bones"- a living skeleton, with the power to alter his size

2562:

Elements are beginning to stir in the 26th Century. Factions that believe the ability to change crucial points in Starfleet & its allies' histories is their absolute birthright. Only the U.S.S. Premonition stands between the factions' success & the preservation of the original timeline. The Wells-Class Relativity is years away from completion. A specifically-manufactured "asteroid" is deposited by a long distance subspace transporter inside the Terran Defense Perimeter during the Cardassian-Dominion Ambush of San Francisco. Everyone's caught off-guard & the fleet is too far away to deter the comet from its path. All is lost.

The Premonition arrives seconds too late to stop or divert the comet without contaminating the past & their own futures. But, armed with the latest B.U.G.'s (Bio-mechanical Utility Grafts,) the crew sets about rescuing whatever little remains.
