Star Trek Generations 2

Reminds me of that early First Contact trailer which used the music from The Undiscovered Country and special effects shots from TNG and VOY.

I remember being a bit disappointed when I found out that the movie didn't actually feature a TNG/VOY crossover. :p And of course I assumed that the Enterprise-E was going to be a Galaxy-class as well (just like the Enterprise-A was another Constitution-class).

Yeah, that's funny, because that's exactly why I remembered seeing this "Star Trek Generations 2" trailer back in 95! I saw it and I assumed that the Enterprise was going to be a Galaxy class ship with a third nacelle. Also I remember on this same trailer it was so funny to me when the voice-over guy said that Generations had made like $26 million dollars in the first week, then you hear Data's YES!! line and it just struck me as being real funny. By the way, I ask again, is it just me, or did Georgi LaForge sound like a woman in this trailer?!?!

And just were you smoking?...I never saw anything like that back in '95 and I watch,...TRUST me
Sounds like a FAN produced video with the "voice-over" to me....

It looks like a distribution trailer created by studio marketing for something like ShoWest, and never meant to be seen by us regular non-show business folks.

I know it's the real deal. First of all, who would make a fan made trailer for Star Trek Generations 2? I mean call me crazy, but the fan made trailers that I've seen were made for movies with finalized titles, not some working title or made up title. And yes, I do remember seeing this cuz of those 3 things I said earlier. We know for a fact that one of the working titles was Generations 2, plus the voice over guy is someone I've heard many times before for other movies. I believe his name is something LaFontaine. He died a few years ago and it was all in news. I know it's legit, but that's just my opinion.

This isn't a 'public' trailer, but one showed to investors and cinema-moguls and often done before any real work has begun on the movie itself. Hence the emphasis on how Generations did financially in theatres. There are a lot of oddities in these things, and can sometimes be amusing.
