Congrats to Gersha Phillips for the nom. She deserved it for the MU costumes alone. I particularly like the MU designs worn by Tyler.

So much irony, since the DSC costumes were the first thing many fans attacked when they were first revealed. They're still a source of controversy. Truth be told, the DSC costumes were kind of a disappointment to me as well. However, I quickly got used to them and the new MU costumes have knocked me out.

Also, ironic that the costumes for the Black Mirror "Trek" episode, USS Callister, which are much closer to traditional TOS uni's, were also nominated.

Yep - and after seeing the latest episode - the nomination is well deserved (IMO).
