I would have used a bit more "exact words". Do Klingons usually lie when agreeing to ceasefires? Also, Burnham is still on the bridge at this point in this version of the story. Also, I think I would have had a different number of ships (12 Fed vs 12 or 13 Klingon? or 11 Fed and 12 Klingon, and 4 more Fed join the battle later, (the Europa and 3 others with her). And I would have done the cloak differently (so a sensor/stealth cloak and a seperate optical camoflage system, rather than the single cloaking device we all know from TOS. Maybe it would only last 10 minutes and cause so much radiation it would kill anyone trying to use it?). AND I am assuming here than Michael knows more about the Klingon people and culture than the average Starfleet officer.
The Admiral has just arrived in the Europa. Broadcasting his conversation all ships in both fleets, he says "Attention, Klingon leader. I am Admiral Brett Anderson. I speak with the authority of the entire Federation when I propose a cease-fire so that we might resolve this conflict with no further bloodshed."
Impassive, T'Kuvma simply orders a subordinate "Signal our fleet to disarm weapons and standby", before telling the Admiral "I will send you my most trusted man", and closing the channel. He then types furiously into keys on his command chair.
The Europa sensors officer notifies the Admiral "The Klingon fleet has disarmed weapons." The Admiral nods and orders "Tell all our ships to stand down weapons. Open a channel to the Shenzhou". Talking to Georgiou and Burnham, he sighs with relief and says "Looks like we nipped this conflict in the bud! Before it spiraled out of control". Georgiou also looks relieved but Burnham does not. "Did the Klingon's accept the ceasefire?" she asks. Puzzled by her question, the Admiral responds "Yes, of course. They disarmed their weapons and their leader said he was sending me his most trusted man."
As this is going on, the Klingon flagship opens its shuttlebay doors.
Burnham continues, "But, they did explicitly state that they accepted the ceasefire?" The Admiral raises an eyebrow "I think you're being a bit too pedantic on this?" They are interrupted by the Europa comms officer "Sir, the Klingon flagship seems to be sending a covert message to their fleet?" As the Admiral is reacting to that, Michael realises something "Wait, his most trusted man? But the men Klingons trust most are not diplomats, they are warriors, bodyguards and assasi...."
They are interrupted by the Europa sensors officer "Sir! Some....thing is heading straight for us!". "Onscreen!" barks the Admiral, showing....seemingly empty space. "Where is it?" asks the Admiral. He thinks he can maybe make out some sort of.....shimmer?
Back on the Shenzhou, Burnham's eyes widen. It must be a cloaked ship! "Shoot it! It's going to ram you!" she frantically tries to warn the Admiral.
On the ship, equipped with a stealth field to mask it from sensors, and optical camoflage to make it impossible to see, along with other modifications like enhanced engines, forward armour and shields, and shield piercing fields and materials, the sole Klingon warrior is almost beside himself with joy! It is a good day to die, in battle, taking many of the enemy with him! "TO STO'VO'KO!!!!" he cries as he slams his fist onto a button.
The Admiral realises Michael is right, and immediately gives orders "Destroy it! Evasive...." but he doesn't finish his sentence. The tactical officer manages to get out "Arming wea-"
And then the cloaked shuttle goes to warp, smashing into the Europa's dorsal shield! It is destroyed but enough mass gets through and slams into and through the bridge of the Europa! The ship is slowly sent spinning out of control.
T'Kuvma smiles, and presses a button on his chair, sending a signal to his fleet.
The crews of the Shenzhou and the other Starfleet ships all react with horror. But there is precious little time to do that before the sensor officer says "Captain! The Klingons have rearmed weapons!".
On his bridge, T'Kuvma simply grins and yells "Now!".
With that, the Klingons all diverted power to weapons and blasted the unprepared Starfleet ships, splitting their fire between the Europa and the other Starfleet targets. Within a matter of seconds, the Europa's remaining shields are overwhelmed, her warp core breaches and she explodes, damaging or destroying 2 Starfleet ships near it. The crew of the Shenzhou stand transfixed by the awful sight. Having essentially gotten free hits on the Federation fleet, which had disarmed weapons, and without the Admiral and his flagship to co-ordinate the defense, the Klingons have now decisively gained the upper hand, and the heavily damaged Starfleet vessels have no choice but to withdraw if they can or be destroyed. Soon, the disabled Shenzhou is left all alone at the mercy of the Klingons....
