I'm interested to see a Klingon Captain, but wondering what the rationale for that will be in the story. It's pre-TOS, but even then the relationship between the Klingons and the Federation was testy at best, openly hostile at worst. Maybe it's a Federation-Klingon ship with a mixture of Federation and Klingon officers as a goodwill mission? Three cheers for baseless speculation!

This is not new news. We've known this information for a couple months. And nothing says that Klingon Captain is commanding a Federation ship.
