Star Trek (DC) #28

I was just reviewing old Star Trek comics and came across this one. Written by Diane Duane and art by Grey Morrow, it was one of my favorites during the 80's.

I'm curious how other people feel it "stacks up" considering all that's come since. I truly feel the mind-melding part to be inspired writing.

"The Last Word," right? Yeah, that was terrific. Though I'm also quite fond of Duane's comedy 2-parter from a few issues earlier. I'm pretty sure those were the first Trek comics I ever bought. I didn't even take comics seriously as a medium until then. (I mean, it was a comedy story, but I didn't think of comics as something I'd be interested in before then, because I bought into the usual myths about them being childish and dumb.)
