Star Trek Day, September 8th

I'm more excited about the return of Prodigy than anything else. We'll probably also get a Picard trailer and release date and probably some news about SNW.
They aren't an official Star Trek convention anymore so I don't expect to hear any news about that. There is probably a SNW panel on Friday though.
Honestly....
I'm not expecting anything except a mostly logo-based teaser for Discovery and maybe SNW. Other than that, a lot of panels on how great it was for everyone on every show to be working with such amazing people and how great Star Trek is. Tweets with concept arts from previous seasons. Things like that.
Which, I mean, it is. I love Star Trek. I'm not cynical to any of the shows right now. I'm being cynical to the live events we see of some of these things. So no, I don't think we'll be getting anything big.

We'll get a Picard S3 trailer. Maybe snippets of SNW S2. One for Prodigy, possibly.

Might even get another announcement of a movie that won't happen. Oh no, they save those for the investor and shareholder meetings.

Interesting how obvious it is that SNW has become the star, with the final slot and so many more of the cast there than the other shows.
I am totally going to bawl during the Nichelle Nichols tribute. I tear up just looking at the thumbnail image for the tribute on the schedule! (I still am a bit shocked by how much her passing has hit me. I don't usually have this kind of reaction, even with other celebs I really loved)
Also, this reminded me of how incredible their promo for last years Star Trek Day was. My compliments to these editors, the promo is still a blast to rewatch, a year after the event itself has passed...
