My idea is a sort of Star Trek and Coronation Street crossover with a small staring cast and a larger cast of co-stars who come and go according to the requirements of thire own story lines. The story is run as a soap opera with a long varieing storyline with each epislode carring on from the previous one.
The main charecters are the captain, the Chief Engineer, the chief medical officer, thne Captains Yoeman and a Federation Diplomatic Envoy.
The co-stars are the X O, the Other Senior officers and some important civilians depending on the storylines, Each depending on all thire own storylines
There would be guest stars occasionally to facillitate the storyline. Also being a soap any charecter is dispensible
The setting is the Federation starship U S S Coronation.
