I was considering getting this, but wanted to know the fan reaction.
I got it for Christmas. The gameplay isn't very extensive, but it is a fun little game. Do not be expecting BOTF 2, however.
Sorry this game stinks! I got it for Christmas for the Wii and if it wasen't a gift from my wife it would be sitting on a used shelf somewhere.
I was very disappointed with this one, even more so than I was with Encounters. Save your money, it's not worth it.
I think people's expectations might be too high for it. I mean it's a pretty cheap game, so getting your hopes too high would obviously be a dumb thing to do.
Got a kick out of it. But it appears buggy, and the directions aren't very specific,especially with the special weapons. Any one can figure out how to use the Genesis Device, but I guess you have to be a hard core Trek gamer (I'm not) to know how to use a pulse device, a wormhole generator, et al. The other thing that bugs me is if you play a campaign and you win, it makes you overwrite your file, which doesn't show up on the Conquests section, so I look at that and don't remember which race I've used against what race. Other than that, I'm having fun with it. Even the skirmish mode is fun once you get the hang of it. Besides I can't be mad at a game that allows you to play as my screen-name: Admiral Jarok.
