Why? It’s just the usual timeline with at least one error (STB is in early 2263, no need for c. 2262) and a few disputed dates; also, TAS is included as we’d expect from the website. The fact that fans are free to speculate away doesn’t mean the official line is unknown. The famous welding torch is already working on DSC’s 2256-58.

Huh? It's the same as it's always been officially -- everything is a single timeline except Kelvin. There has never been any attempt on the part of the creators of Star Trek to posit anything else, no matter what heterodox interpretations various fans may have adopted. (I don't count Roddenberry's attempt to "decanonize" TAS, because he'd been eased back to an essentially ceremonial role at the time he made that declaration; it was only ever binding on the tie-ins, and canonical Trek did make TAS references during the time it was supposedly "banned.") The most this video does is to clarify what's always been the intent.

It is nice to see TAS so heavily featured as equal to the other series. Hopefully that should dispel some of the lingering myths about its status. Perhaps they're playing it up because they're making two new animated Trek shows now.

Since you already posted this link in the other timeline thread, I'm just going to close this one.
