I was walking around Midtown Manhattan the other day and I found a couple of boxes full of beta tapes.

Amongst their number was a STILL SEALED COPY of Star Trek 3 (with the paramount wrapper on it) in perfect minto condition.

I was wondering of a possible value to a collector if I say put it on auction at a convention or some nonsense like that..

    Hit me up at admiral.beefheart@gmail.com

I'll also periodically check the conversation here.

    Thank you.

    A Beta tape? Hahahahahahaha.

Oh wait - I have a working Betamax.

    Hahahahahahahaha.

    Ummm, no thanks.

 No offense intended, Beefheart. I thought it was clear that the joke was on me, not you. I'm the freak with the working Betamax and a collection of Beta tapes.

In fact, welcome to TrekBBS. I hope you find the answer you are looking for.

Try Google if you want to see if the tape's worth anything.

    Meanwhile... [IMG]
