Star Trek clubs, camps, meetups etc.

I'm curious if many of you have been in a Star Trek club or been involved in meeting up with other fans? I've been to a couple conventions years ago but that's about it. I remember hearing about Klingon language camps years ago. I wonder if any club has tried to live the Star Trek philosophy in a commune style living situation. Please feel free to share your experiences if you like.

First you would have to get a group of people to agree what the Star Trek philosophy even is, points of view are near endless.
