Star Trek cast/crew puzzle

Hello to all,

I've been looking for advice from fans of ST for a little while now and this has brought me to your shores.

I'm trying to uncover a bit of a mystery. Well, two actually. I've managed to acquire a couple of personalised items from Gene Roddenberry, Majel Barret and two others. I cannot decypher the other two.

Rather than waste your time, I've posted just the first one in the image here. It's the name below Majel's on the fontispiece.

Does anyone have a clue who this second person is. I have spent a deal of time examing the cast and crew of every series and film from ST:TOS to ST:X and haven't been able to see any name that this might resemble? The book is a first edition dated to 1994, but I'm not sure that helps a great deal as it could be any time after that really. Of course, this does mean it could not have been before 1994. It's not the author nor anyone mentioned in the book only.

I've posted just the first one in the image here. It's the name below Majel's on the fontispiece.

The book "Star Trek Creator" was written by David Alexander, and that signature's surname looks a bit like it reads "Alexander" to me.

However, it could be anyone who was sitting next to Majel at a convention and agreed to sign a book they had no connection with. So checking cast lists of ST films may not be very helpful. But how could it possibly mean that it could precede 1994? How would anyone be able to sign a book published in 1994 before 1994, or maybe December 1993?

hi and thanks for the response. I looked long and hard at the name and i just cannot make alexander out of it. Saying that, some signatures are real funky.

I agree with you regarding the convention signing issue. I would still hope it would be someone related to either the book, the shows or the films.

I agreed with you, I don't think it could be before 1994.

P.S. I think it looks like the name Hilary. I did find one Hilary associated with one of the incarnations on IMDB, but she was just too obscure to consider in this context.
