When working on the first episode, he said there would be X segments and the total was going to be Y minutes, but in the end it was X+1 or X+2 segments, and it was 10 or 20 minutes longer, so I suggest you just be grateful and enjoy the ride.

Now that's "second season absurdity" on par with "...Tribbles" or "I' Mudd"! One could loop ZZ Tops' "Legs" and it would totally fit the engine room scene. I laughed so hard I went into a coughing fit!
I loved the inclusion of the two Caitians in the bar scene! I preferred the one on the viewer's left just a tad more because I could see her feline ears and her hair looked a bit more like a mane. Be sure to notice their upper sleeve "patches".
