I'd love to see it work but would hate to see it fail. If Trek comes back to the small screen it can't afford to take another loss. That's why, imho, the best option is an animated series after the movie. Cheaper to make and very versatile as far as what ship, crew and timelines to visit. If that works out, great, then we go back to a live action series. But I think we may need a straight up TOS reboot. Just get Kirk, McCoy and Spock back on TV screens.
