I just read this and I obviously missed some series. Do we know who Wesley is recruiting in 2024? And how is Gary Mitchell still around? Do we know what killed him? I know that story was picked up in a combo Trek story with Sisko, Data, and other characters from different shows, but I don't recall who the villians were, or if they were even villians.

Yeah, Star Treek 400 was the supersize final issue of the old Star Trek comics before the series rebooted with Star Trek/Defiant.

A lot of the answers to the OG posters questions are picked up in that series - I'm not reading Defiant on the regular, so can't speak to that. Maybe questions to bring up in the relevant comic thread?

I can answer this one at least, with spoilers for season two of Picard if you haven't seen it: Wesley is recruiting Kore, played by Isa Briones, in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Farewell."

It's really weird. IDW showed Kelvin Gary Mitchell as having come back from the dead (and able to traverse the multiverse) in the final arc of Boldly Go. But the scene in question setting up the 2022 ongoing shows clothing more reminiscent of Prime Gary Mitchell.
