The Gamesters of Triskelion &*Journey to Babel
This year, in conjunction with the St. Louis Science Center’s STAR TREK – THE EXHIBITION, the uber-talented Smoking Monkeys are presenting the all-new hilarious spoof STAR TREK – LIVE! Two classic episodes of the original series will be lambasted: In The Gamesters of Triskelion Captain Kirk is played by Jim Ousley, Mr. Spock is played by Ed Cole, and Shanha, played on the show by the late cult actress Angelique Pettyjohn (known to Trekkie geeks as The Bustiest Alien in the Galaxy!) will be played by Suki Peters. In the other episode spoofed, Journey to Babel, Amy Kelly plays Amanda, who was played on the Show by Jane Wyman the star of Father Knows Best.
STAR TREK – LIVE! runs 12 performances the first three weekends in May: May 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 & 19 at 8pm and 10:30pm. The play runs on the stage at the Regional Arts Commission, 6128 Delmar Blvd in University City.
