Star Fleet Shuttlecraft: The Best?

It's easier to make out in the back seat of a Camero than it is on the seat of a motorcycle.
A Camaro has a back seat?

Also, I have it on very good authority that bicycles ain't too bad for the purpose, either. It's just a matter of balance.

There's certainly much to be said for the Type 7, although it has particularly severe shortcomings in the scale-model-to-full-size-item transition. It's not just that the mockup proved difficult to build; I'm more concerned about the fact that the thing was designed without particularly good doorways or interiors, in at least two senses. The two-compartment innards are somewhat awkward to film in, but it's also especially awkward for "real" space heroes to operate in.

The bow door was a cool idea, and I'd loved to have seen it in operation. But then there's the apparent stern door, with the impulse engine smack in the middle, which is just weird. And then seeming side doors, which would have to fold open in complex gullwing manner and still wouldn't provide easy access because the nacelles are badly in the way. The clumsier and less innovative Type 6 has greater utility both for filming and for "real" use as a starship auxiliary.
