ST "Trilogy" Blu Ray Set

Is the 6 movie box set supposed to include the DVD extra of Klingon Hamlet with TUC?

Also, I've only seen TMP as a director's cut/special edition. Should I seek it out and gain a better appreciation for the DC/SE or should I avoid it and be glad I don't know what i'm missing?

Rather than trigger off another debate on this topic, you might review past threads here about the merits of the theatrical TMP and demerits of the so-called director's cut (of course, depending on your POV, you may want to reverse my wording up there.)

Although it pains me to do so... there is no use in me resisting. I might as well pick up the complete TOS movie set on Blu-Ray because I will eventually anyway. When the DE is released, I might pick it up separately.

Yes, this is the release that will include the klingon Hamlet.
AND it will be minus 3 1/2 minutes of footage from the movie seen in every previous video release.

There are also photos of the packaging in and out with the discs.

DVDizzy.com reviews the trilogy on Blu-ray and has a a bunch of screengrabs of the extra features

The new features are well-produced, but work better as a supplement to the old collection rather than a replacement. To get both the new and old bonus material in one collection, one would have to turn to the more elaborate Blu-ray-only Star Trek Original Motion Picture Collection.
