ST 2009 DVD/Bluray sales

When do you think the numbers will be coming in from yesterday?
methinks we'll know first week sales by nov 29th
All I know is, I live in what you might consider a redneck hell. This town is full of uneducated hillbillies who live off of taxpayer money and addicted to prescription medications. That said, I went to Wal-Mart last night to buy a Blu-Ray copy of Star Trek and all four bins were sold out.
There were millions of copies of the DVDs, but all the Blu-Rays were gone. Needless to say, I ended up paying an arm and a leg buying the last copy from Kroger.

That is a great story, TF. But what possessed you to wait until last night to get to Wal-Mart?
Being from said redneck hell, I figured I had nothing to lose not going to the midnight release. Unfortunately, I had to be at work at ten in the morning and didn't get off until 10 that night, so once I got there, all the Blu-Rays were gone.
Hmmm...methinks that might be a lesson in what happens when you underestimate people...
