sports and Star Trek

Baseball seems to be making a come back on DS9, after having been ditched somewhere in the past. We see spring-ball, and persceis squares (yeah, I butchered the spelling) and I guess you could say TOS really harped on judo-wrestling from time to time...but is that it? Do they even have the olympics on Earth any more?? What is the general status of Sports, in the Federation, in the 23-24 centuries?

soccer survives into the 24th. Sisko had a conversation about a pro player with an injured knee in "Paradise".

cricket's probably dead, though...

There's that racket-ball esq thing the Bashier & O'Brien play sometimes, and Picard was fencing in TNG, Wriker did Judo, and there's alway the Academy tri-athlon. So I'm guessing some things have survived. It's just a pity we don't see anyone listening to the results on 'Subspace Radio Fed 33134 Mhz'!

Bashir and O'Brien play darts.

22nd century:
Archer played waterpolo.
Trip mentions football in Vox Sola.
