Spock: They're eggs, aren't they?

This is a resin Spock figure I got a long time ago, with an accompanying Kirk kit. Spock is holding Horta eggs, Kirk is holding tribbles. I have no idea who made them, beyond the sculptor's name, "Grant", carved on their legs.

The kit provides 2 large and 2 small acrylic spheres for eggs. I added a broken one by cutting apart a ping pong ball.

And please just remember, figures and faces aren't really my thing. I just do my best.

The Kirk figure is going to be next.

Why are the eggs different sizes?

Some are Grade-A?

They came in 2 sizes in the kit, so I assumed they were that way in the episode. But looking at caps on TrekCore, they do indeed seem to be all the same size. Hm.
