I think its pretty clear that Spock is going to try and stay out of it, and let the chips fall as they may. Now that Kirk and Spock are *roughly* where they are supposed to be, I think he probably feels the Enterprise is in a position to do most of what they did in his own timeline.

Could be interesting. Each time he "fixed" somehing, the time-line would get further from how he remembered it until it was totally unrecognisable to him. The trouble is, it is already so different that a lot of things probably wouldn't happen anyway.

Spock prime can be the new Annorax.

Spock would be foolish to assume that some of the most outlandish events - V'ger, Whale Probe - which were defeated essentially by luck, will "turn out okay". There are only 10,000 Vulcans left... i suspect it would be "logical" to be more protective about those who remain.
