Spock and McCoy

Whofan

Fleet Captain
Would an episode with the two meeting again in the 24th century have worked out? I know that the comics and novels have explored that (along with Scotty), but it'd be interesting to see the two argue among the TNG crew.

Also, apparentally there were some plans involving Kirk which didn't pan out and also a totally different storyline for Mark Lenard's Sarek that ended up becoming Yesterday's Enterprise....anybody have any more insight on these?

IIRC there were plans to have Kirk in "Too Short A Season" as the Admiral Jamieson character, but these plans were scrapped. I'm not sure about Mark Lenard's would be role in YE. They were trying to get Leonard Nimoy to guest star as far back as season 3, but ultimately it wasn't until "Unification" that Nimoy came aboard.
