Not seen many people talking about this, and it's out this weekend. I doubt I'll pick it up on day one, but I'll probably get it around Christmas. Looks like a fun beat-em-up/hack n' slash.

I told myself that after Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood I was done buying any new games until Dead Space 2 came out at the end of January next year, then Amazon when and put Enslaved on sale and I couldn't pass up a new game for $25.00.

I have yet to open Enslaved or Star Wars: FU2 I bought a month ago.
I still have to finish hydrophobia I dl'ed a moth ago, the DLC for Borderlands, Red Dead Redemption and I haven't even loaded Left 4 Dead to look at it's newest DLC and I got that day one.

I still need to finish AC:BH, clean up some Achievements in COD:BO, Dead Rising 2 and a few others.



After a long debate with myself I pulled it off my list for this year, in all honestly the biggest reason was it just doesn't look like a $60.00 game to me.
I am sticking to my guns, NO SPLATTERHOUSE FOR ME!!!

I'll give it some time and pick it up on a gamestop B2G1F sale.

I didn't find it that annoying really. Not saying the game needed it, or that I'll miss that aspect if it's absent from DS2 (which I reckon it will), but like the Star Destroyer bit in The Force Unleashed, it was nowhere near as bad as some made out.

I wouldn't call that part of the game "pointless" as it did offer a nice change of pace (IMO) but I will say the Devs commented on how hard that part actually was and it was not their intentions for it to be..SO we will probably see something different or revamped.

Perhaps if they have a ridiculously difficult interlude, they'll provide some way of bypassing it since I had been enjoying it up until then but never got past it.

I missed the sale for Enslaved, but I played the demo yesterday and I'm now definitely buying it. I have a $20 gift certificate for Best Buy, so I'm thinking I'll use that to pay for the game. Maybe even pick it up tonight, though, like you, it'll be some time before I actually get a chance to play it.

I was so freaked out by this game that i kept dying on this part because I was more focused on waiting for something to jump out at me than actually trying to shoot the asteroids.
