2263 is the date for the events of "Star Trek Beyond" and/or the launch of the "Kelvin Incident" timeline Enterprise A, or so I believe. Go back 200 years and you have the dawn of warp flight for humans. Go back a further 100 years and you have, according to my favourite theory, the point where our timeline diverged from the trek one.
Putting a temporal insurgent on a grassy knoll in Dallas on November 22nd, 1963 might turn out to be an effective federation stopper. Picard had Guinan to tell him things weren’t quite right in "Yesterday's Enterprise". Maybe we got Gene "The Great Bird of the Galaxy" Roddenberry to tell us tales of what should have been.
As a big fan of JFK and Star Trek, I think that would be one heck of an origin story.
Any thoughts...
