Speaking of models, here's another kitbash

I actually couldn't remember if you built it first or if I drew it first? I remember a thread here that discussed such a housing and that your model showed up near the end of it... but it's been a few days. :)
Now I'm having trouble remembering. What inspired me to build it was a photoshop that warped9 did. I thought I remembered him saying he got the idea from Masao's museum. So the $42 question is did you draw it before Warped did the photoshop, or was it the other way around?

Not that it matters in the great scheme of the universe, but it'd be nice to get it right.

I remember that photoshop, I think I was a Dire Lurker at the time.

It had that same camo pattern your model has, right?

No, the camo was my idea. Warped composited a destroyer using TOS screen grabs of the E, and made it look like a 60s TV-quality image.

Forbin what is the total length of the short nacelle
with bussard collector and aft end caps on. I'd like to convert one of my cad warp engines drawings into the same length. I assume that the dia is the same as the std Warp engine ? Thanks ;)

The short nacelle is about 60% of the size of a standard nacelle. In model kit terms, the standard nacelle is around 5", the short one is about 3".

Is that 5" with the caps on or is it 5 7/8" ?

Ziz on the Bridge module with the 2 turbolifts whats the angle between the 2 turbolifts. great work by the way
on all the parts that you are producing. :techman:

I improvised on the angle based on the width of the turbolift. If it matters, guesstimate that inside there's one full size station between the two turbolift alcoves.

This little ship is actually based very loosely on Jackill's Lancer class light frigate.

I hope to see someone do the large hull on his Carver class as a secondary hull, except flip it for use as a secondary hull, with a lower sensor where he has his Bridge, and the impulse deck then being at the bottom. Place An Abbe type sucer up top with aft firing torpd between the saucer's wide impulse vents, and you have a nice Refit follow on.
