Tonight, I attended Out Loud, a recurring author series put on by the Cedar Rapids public library. Their guests were Charlaine Harris, author of the Sookie Stackhouse (and other) series, and Johanna ... something, the reader who narrates the audiobooks.
There were a few spoilers/not spoilers.
First, not that big a spoiler, but ...
Second, her biggest regret ...
Her other three series are done. The Grave (Harper C) series concluded with #4, which just came out recently. The Lily Bard (Shakespeare) and Aurora Teagarden (Mystery Solving Librarian) series have also concluded. If she had time, the Aurora series is the only one she has any desire to write about again, but she left the character in such a happy place, she doesn't want to change that.
She is working on at least one new series, unrelated to any of the characters she's written about previously.
She has begun working on a graphic novel series. HBO is doing their own True Blood comic series, which will start sometime this year, and she doesn't get paid for it.
And possibly the most fun revelation ...
I recorded the whole thing (it was just over one and a half hours) and may post it later, if the recording turns out ok.

She is currently contracted for 13 books. When she was in Omaha two years ago, the contract was for 11 books, so it's obviously something they'll keep renewing.
Second, her biggest regret ...
Her biggest regret is killing Claudine. If she could go back and re-write any scene from any of her books, she would have kept Claudine alive.

She has written a new short story for one of the anthologies (can't remember which one) described like this: "Sookie, Pam, Road, Trip. Stripper, Pole!"
