i have owned the entire series on DVD for at least 5 years, but I believe the first time I saw this episode was last night!
I have DVD's that show about the first 3 minutes of an episode then maybe some sort of 1/2 image on the top of the screen and some derivative of fractured screen images below that, then go to the ending credits. :wah:

However, my old DVD player ceased working a few weeks back and I bought a new one.

Anyway, I normally hate Worf/Klingon episodes but I actually found this one interesting. I forgot that Worf had a brother.:ack:
It sort if had that magical TNG sort of reset ending that can just be easily shot full of holes. All in all for a Klingon episode I liked it.
The most fun was suddenly seeing an episode that I probably never saw before.:techman:

Yeah, I haven't seen this one recently but it is an interesting episode and does ask very poignant questions, that bit at the end.

"Are you my family?"

"I have no family".

Even for a cold, hard, Klingon Warrior, that's gotta hurt.

It is a poignant episode. However, I think the middle is iffy: certainly a dozen governments and organizations would be lining up to employee Kurn's expertise. He would never be a lowly militiaman.

The whole part of Kurn being forced at as petty revenge on Worf seemed a bit hollow. As his entire upbringing was to disguise his true family, how hard would it have been for another klingon to employ him, if surreptitiously, just to annoy Gowron?
