Something I like about the new bridge

The original bridge of the Enterprise seemingly only had one entrance and exit, the turbolift in the back of the bridge.

Now there are seemingly two turbolifts on either side of the bridge and a walkway entrance at the back that connect with the rest of the ship. I just love that. Seems much more functional.

I sortof like the fact that the bridge is not the only thing thats on deck one.

Same here.

I did find it strange that the turbolift journey from the main shuttlebay to the bridge lasted about three seconds though

But that's to do with pacing and creative license so no issue really.

Yeah it was a bit odd-feeling seeing them walk into the bridge from a *hallway*, CIC-like, but it really does make more sense than having the nerve center of the ship way up in a vulnerable bubble.
