Somebody forgot to tell CBS they don't have the rights to pre-DSC Trek

First of all, what the hell are you talking about?
There's an absurd theory running around (even in this forum) that CBS doesn't have any rights to Star Trek before Discovery, requiring them to change designs by 25% and that they can't merchandise before Discovery and the Kelvin films.
Second, what does that exhibit have to do with it?
It's them merchandising things from before Discovery and the Kelvin films.

So it was sarcasm then?

The pictures suggest it is officially licensed Star Trek merchandise.

From what I understand it stems from the belief of rights being split between different companies requiring a license similar to what Bad Robot obtained for the reboot movies. As far as I can tell though they are deliberate design choices by the team who made Discovery.

How droll. As you can see by the initial responses, that was not clear to any of us.

Not really. I publicly support them being doxxed and having their entire lives destroyed.

This thread started out bad, and got worse. You could have just posted a link to the exhibit, and we would have all had a good time looking at the pretty pictures.

I'm not going to allow this to continue. I really suggest you rethink your approach to posting here.
