I like it. It's a nice blend of TOS and TNG. Nifty Okudagram too.

With the way the pylons stick out, how would one step out of the shuttle, jump to the nacelle instead of stepping on it like the shuttlecraft we've seen?

Out the rear exit when landing on a planet. The side doors are accessed from a platform on a ship or base.

Very nice. And as said before, the graphic suits the time frame quite nicely. :-) I have a bit of an affection to the simple. blue on black design of the "Pre-Okudagrams" used in this era. An under developed display system...in my opinion. :-)
